My name is Peggy Kingsbury. I am a native Texan and have painted for over 30 years—full-time since 1999. My first choice is to
paint from life, whether standing in a field of wildflowers in the Texas
Hill Country, near a rushing river in Colorado or New Mexico, on the streets of
a village in Europe, in a charming interior, or contemplating a still life set
up in my studio or backyard. I use a variety of textures and edges as I seek to
capture a fleeting moment. I just love to paint and am drawn (pun intended) to
